The object of this study is to analyze differences in aspirations and choice of course of study at the outset of higher education. More particularly it aims to determine if the "individual" choices, which have an impact on the construction of educational inequalities, depend on school environment. Social protection system had developed in order to ensure the protection of the citizens, but also to maintain the economic growth of the country. The importance of the pension system is given by its social purpose, which is poverty alleviation, adequacy of income and consumption smoothing at retirement. In countries of Central and Eastern Europe, the income inequalities – main cause of poverty, had increased with the economic development. The aim of this paper is to show the changes brought to Romanian public pension system by the Law no. 127/2019 regarding the provided benefits vis-à-vis of social inequalities existing among elderly people.

Lower educational attainment generally is a strong predictor of coronary heart disease (CHD). The underlying mechanisms of this effect are, however, less clear. One hypothesis is that stress related to limitations imposed by lower socioeconomic status elicits changes in hypothalamic-pituitary-adrenal axis functioning, which, in turn, increases risk of CHD. The present text focuses on a relationship between higher education, institutional and symbolic violence and exclusion, practicing as a challenge based on reflections on the existence of evasion in Brazilian university.
